Setting a budget

A budget shows how much you plan to spend in each category and how much is left.

Create one

Open Budgets, choose Create a budget, pick a period (month is the usual one) and add the categories with an amount each. Fill from my last 3 months suggests amounts from what you actually spent.

Carry over

Turn on rollover for a category if unspent money, or an overspend, should move to the next period.
